1. Who we are

This Privacy Notice explains how MIRA AI ("MIRA AI", "we", "us") collects, uses, shares and protects your personal data when you use our decision intelligence service (the "Service"). MIRA AI acts as the data controller for the personal data described below.

2. Personal data we collect

  • Account data: name, email address, login credentials, language preference.
  • Profile and assessment data: answers to questionnaires, psychological profile data, simulation inputs and results that you choose to generate.
  • Support communications: messages you send us.
  • Usage and telemetry: pages visited, features used, credits consumed, errors and diagnostic logs.
  • Device data: IP address, browser type, operating system, approximate location derived from IP.
  • Billing identifiers: a customer ID and subscription ID issued by our payment provider, along with plan and status. We do not store full card numbers.

3. How we use your data and legal basis

  • To provide the Service (account creation, authentication, generating assessments and simulations) — performance of a contract.
  • To process payments and manage subscriptions via Paddle — performance of a contract and legal obligation.
  • To secure the Service (fraud prevention, abuse detection, rate limiting) — legitimate interests.
  • To improve the Service (analytics, debugging, model evaluation on aggregated data) — legitimate interests.
  • To provide customer support — performance of a contract / legitimate interests.
  • To send service-related emails (account, billing, security) — performance of a contract / legal obligation.
  • To comply with law — legal obligation.

4. Who we share data with

  • Service providers / sub-processors that help us run the Service (cloud hosting, database, AI model providers, analytics, email delivery, customer support tooling). They process data on our instructions under appropriate confidentiality and data-protection terms.
  • Paddle.com Market Limited, our Merchant of Record, for the sale of subscriptions, payments, subscription management, tax compliance and invoicing. Paddle acts as an independent controller for the payment data it collects.
  • Professional advisers (legal, accounting) where necessary.
  • Authorities where required by law or to protect our rights.

We do not sell your personal data.

5. International transfers

Your data may be processed in countries outside of your own, including outside the UK and EEA. Where this happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or adequacy decisions.

6. Retention

We keep personal data only for as long as necessary to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it. You can request deletion of your account at any time.

7. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to: access your personal data; rectify inaccurate data; request erasure; restrict or object to processing; data portability; and withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. If you are in the UK or EEA, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority. We aim to respond to requests within one month.

8. Security

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit, access controls, audit logs and least-privilege role separation. No system can be guaranteed 100% secure; please use a strong, unique password.

9. Cookies and similar technologies

We use strictly necessary cookies and local storage to keep you signed in and to remember preferences such as language. We may use limited analytics to understand usage of the Service. You can manage cookies through your browser settings; disabling strictly necessary cookies may break parts of the Service.

10. Changes

We may update this Privacy Notice from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or by email.
